I would like to welcome Dr Clown to the office and to the administration of Diving Horse Creations and to extend an invitation to view their web site (www.drclown.ca) . Dr Clown continues to grow, helping to relieve the strain of hospital life for both patients and to a degree, the medical staff. Although their formidable work is predominately directed towards the needs of children, armed with their humour, clowning skills and most of all, their compassion, they continue to reach out to other members of the community. The inherent nature of the "clown" developed and defined within the programs created by Dr Clown is ideally suited to communicate with patients suffering from Alzhiemers, for example. It gives us great pleasure in the office and rehearsal room of Diving Horse Creations to see more and more red noses. Phoebe

Inspiration from the materials she works with, as well as art and music, occupy a major place in her universe. Had she not become a designer, she would have been a painter. Her shirts, used as canvas, provide ample evidence of this. |

For her Spring 2003 collection, inspiration was drawn from simple materials such as ribbon and cotton twill woven, cut and painted, to create textured effects and volume. The aesthetic value of each piece is achieved with the quality of the confection. Renata chose Old Montreal as the location for her store. St. Paul Street West is home to her immense space, where she is able to produce her collections while staying close to her clientele. |
